In 2014 I set foot into the natural stone industry fresh from Varsity. Little did I know it would become something so special. I obtained a degree in Labor Relations and Behavioral Psychology from the Northwest University Potchefstroom. Needless to say, my journey was set out for me. There was a different and bigger plan…
I started in sales at the time, working for one of the local slab suppliers. They wanted me to focus on monumental slabs sales. Later my responsibilities developed into the selling of 2cm and 3cm slabs and Production Management of Gangsaws, Wire saws and Bridge saws.
At this point I realized I had an unknown passion; I knew I am where I belong.
The Marble Classic Group was introduced to me early in 2018. After some research I found myself dreaming about being part of this “well-oiled machine” more than once. Something inside me said, I must make the move… There was a void to challenge myself, I was hungry for an opportunity to not only further grow my knowledge, but to make a difference in our industry. I applied for a sales position at Exclusive Warehouse For Natural Stones, whereafter I finally met the man behind the World Class group of companies, Mr. Franco D’Agnolo.
This soon meant the start of my special journey with the Marble Classic Group. On the 18th of October 2018, a door opened in my career and to this day I have never looked back…. 60 000 sqm of Factories, Slab Warehousing, and Machinery. It was a world of stone that felt like home. Under the guidance and mentorship of Mr. Franco, I quickly found my feet within the company and had a much better understanding of our Industry. Working alongside the best and other passionate industry professionals, the passion for natural stone grew into something greater than I could ever imagine.
From sales consultant in 2018 to the current Managing Director since 2022. My journey has been a beautiful and humbling experience. I am honored to be at the lead of such an amazing establishment. In April 2021, we started the building of a 2000 sqm showroom which we completed in April 2022. Exactly one year later we moved into this beautiful facility, boasting the widest range of Natural and Engineered Stone Slabs.
We carefully curate and hand select every slab in our collection, while keeping a close eye on design trends to ensure we have the latest in stone trends to your disposal. I think our slogan “emotions in stone” encapsulates what we stand for as a company. It speaks about the beauty, quality, care, and emotions that you will experience when dealing with our professionals.
We want to give our clients an unforgettable experience that is unparalleled. It’s more than just selling stone slabs; it’s about adding value through providing solutions for each project.
